Beauty School Clinic Nightmares

Just like everyone else, I am a big fan of saving money. I used to have no problem heading down to the local beauty school for a super inexpensive cut or other beauty service. Back then I believed that a beauty school was great because they were fresh in their training and since it was for a grade they would be extra cautious and do a decent job on my hair. This WAS my thinking before I went to beauty school and saw how wrong I was! Just because a person is in beauty school does not mean that they can cut hair. The reality is, only about a tenth of the people in beauty schools really want to be there. You might be shocked to know that a lot of people go to beauty school because they think it will be easy and they are just looking for a quick income. They quickly discover that it is in fact not easy at all! They will also soon discover that they will not make a whole lot of money either, especially right away. So back to the point of this article, when you walk into a beauty school for a hair cut you are basically playing Russian Roulette with your hair! You MIGHT sit down to a stylist who can cut hair and takes pride in her work, but more than likely you will get one of the other 9 who have no business holding a pair of shears. Another horror I saw at beauty school was the lack of sanitation. I can remember several times coming into the dispensary and seeing some students pedicure foot bath from the day before still filled with the DIRTY water! Are you kidding me?! I will NEVER go to a beauty school for any treatments again! For me, it is just not worth the savings.
